On the whole all the cars, which took part, finished the rally, the only car to cause embarrassment was the plastic pig from 'Only fools and Horses' so no change there then.

The Great British Film Rally was sponsored by Bafta and Shell together with the drivers and owners of Cars from Film and Television who gave there time and money for a two week drive from Cardiff to St. Andrews.

The event was a great success, during the day the cars ran perfectly on the sponsors fuel and oil, while in the evening further fund rasing took place hosted in each television region further added to the fund.

Given the opportunity again we would jump at it, it's one of the best ways for all those who took part to help raise money for charity...
