| Found in a very sorry state in a Garage near Coventry during the summer of 1989, this Mini Cooper under went a 3 year ground up restoration. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Although complete and original and only having covered 48,000 miles from new, the car had been neglected with all the usual Mini rot taking its toll requiring cutting out and replacing with new genuine panels where available otherwise professionally prepared panel were used. | |||||||||||||||||||||

The shell was primed with 'Galvafroid' zinc etching primer before the final cellulose paint re-spray. All of
the trim scrubbed up well and is in remarkable condition for its age,
brightwork was re-chromed where necessary. |
